ACIDIF PLUS is a food supplement based on l-methionine, dry exctract of hibiscus sabdariffa (UTIROSE™ – Burgundy) and dry exctract of leaves of Boswellia serrata (AKBAMAX™) 10% titled on acetyl cheto beta boswellic acid.

L-Methionine: is one of the essential amino acids and, consequently, an important constituent of the human body. L-Methionine, which the human body cannot produce have to be introduced by diet, and it is also the only essential amino acid containg  sulfur in its formula. The availability of L-Methionine (as a donor of sulfur) in adequate quantity is the necessary condition for the biosynthesis of cysteine, a disulphide amino acid.  A large number of Gram-negative bacteria  alkalinizes urines by enzymatic degradation of urea. It creates favourable conditions to bacteria own growth. L-methionine maintains a physiological urinary pH and creates unfavourable conditions for bacterial colonization.

Hibiscus Sabdariffa: Latest scientifics trials demonstrate a significant effect of UTIROSE – Hibiscus sabdariffa dry extract 40% titled in Organic acid and 50% in sambubioside  - on the reduction of a starting E.Coli and Candida albicans microbiological contamination. In fact, the UTIROSE ™ fitocomplex is characterized from presence of two molecular components the sambubiosides and specific proantocyanidines and it has been  tested for urinary tract effects. The results show a reduction by 77% for urinary tract infections caused by antimicrobical activity after only one week of treatment.

Boswellia serrata:  International scientific literature shows the capability of AKBAMAX ™ - Boswellia serrata resin rubber dry extract - to inhibit different inflammatory modulators, like 5-lipoxygenase acting on leucotrienes but not on the  cicloxygenases (COX1 e COX2), direct involved in the synthesis of pro inflammatory agents as  prostaglandins, prostacyclines and tromboxanes. For this specific activity  the titled extract in acetyl cheto beta boswellic acid is considered one of the safer natural ant inflammatory agent.

ACIDIF PLUS thanks to its components helps the correct functionality of the urinary tract, creating conditions unfavourable to bacterial development and proliferation.
The  slow release tablets  and a gastroprotective shell ensures a steady release of the components and  optimises the tolerability.
 

Composition: One tablet of 1000 mg. contains 400 mg. L-Methionine 100 mg. dry exctract of Ibiscus sabdariffa (UTIROSE™ – Burgundy) flowers and 100mg of dry exctract of Boswellia serrata (AKBAMAX ™) leaves 10% titled on cheto beta boswellic acid.

Suggestions for use: One tablet twice a day - 1 tablet in the evening before bedtime and 1 tablet in the morning when you wake  up.
